Yeah, I've just confirmed with my dad, I'll be flying back to Vietnam on the 14th of Feb...which means...VALENTINE"S DAY!!!!!!!!!!

Let's see...I came home after school today to find my house empty. The whole family went out. So I took some juice from the fridge, fixed myself a sandwhich, and grabbed a packet of chips on the way back to my room. I was eating on my bed and reading at the same time, a habit that I'm trying to kick. But I can't help it. I love my bed with my pillows and my soft toys and my distinct Sophie smell. ((:
So I went to nap after that, as I had a tiring day at school. Can barely keep my eyes open during maths lesson, with the teacher droning on and on and on about points and lines and arcs while waving a HUGE whiteboard compass around murderously.
Woke up at seven thirty, and went out to shower. Found the rest of the family lazing about in the living room watching 'America's Funniest Home Videos'. I wish that I could paint that moment down. It's really heartwarming to see the whole family winding down together.
So, anyway, I went to shower then had my dinner. My mum heated up the food for me again and pointed to a plate of fish (blerrggh) on the table.
"I took out all the bones for you." she said.
I almost cried. She knows that I don't like to eat fish because I have a tendecy to choke on the bones, so she painstakingly picked out all the bones for me. And she knows that I only eat the tail end part of the fish, so she saved that for me, till I wake up.
And to think, I'm not even related to her by blood. Neither is she my biological mother.
which makes me determined to do well in my studies, so that she can have something to boast to her friends about. THAT is my duty and the least I could do as a daughter. I think.
P.S I GOT 21/25 FOR MY LITERATURE TEST!!!! ((: Surprisingly, Wein Yeoung and Shawn, who used to be horrendous at lit, got 20. And incidently, they sat a seat behind and next to me respectively. THEREFORE, I've reached the conclusion that they peeked at my paper. LOL.
But seriously, congrats guys.
